Can’t forget to sauce it up!

You can truly tell this family-owned business is incredibly grateful for every customer who walks through the door, and that’s something that’s become so rare to find. Even when they’re incredibly busy, they always remain warm, kind, and welcoming. I usually order the chicken and fries, and I absolutely love their chimichurri sauce! It adds such a unique flavor and gives the meal a delicious twist that keeps me coming back. Great food, wonderful people, and excellent service every time!

I visited around 1PM on a Wednesday. There were only about 10 groups ahead of me, so I was able to get my food much faster than expected. While I was waiting, the staff was very kind and kept an eye on my place in line. Since English isn't my native language, I was nervous the whole time, but their friendly attitude really put me at ease. The steak and fries were so filling and absolutely delicious! I'll definitely be back for more.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I first discovered The Colonial Grill through an Instagram post that must have gone viral, because it immediately caught my attention and had me looking for where they would be next. After finally trying it, I can honestly say it lived up to the hype. What stood out before I even took my first bite was the customer service. The son, who is part-owner alongside his father, was out front interacting with everyone waiting in line. He wasn't hiding behind the truck—he was greeting customers, answering questions, making people feel welcome, directing everyone to the cooler stocked with free bottled water, and personally handing out orders when they were ready. You could tell he genuinely enjoys connecting with people and appreciates every customer who shows up. As we waited, they were also passing out complimentary fries topped with their incredible sauce. That's the kind of hospitality you don't see very often anymore. Instead of just waiting around for your food, they made the experience fun and welcoming from start to finish. I ordered the loaded steak fries with all the toppings, and they were absolutely ridiculous—in the best way possible. The portion was huge, piled high

My girlfriend visited this food truck the weekend before and highly recommended it to me. Since I’m notoriously picky when it comes to restaurants and food spots, I arrived with high expectations—and I’m happy to report that this place exceeded them. First, the wait was completely worth it. If you get there early, you can probably avoid the line, but even if you can’t, don’t let that discourage you. Good food is worth a few extra minutes of patience. As someone who pays attention to the details, I always take a quick look inside food trucks and kitchens when I can. I was genuinely impressed by how clean, organized, and professional everything looked. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. Now, let’s talk about the food. The fries were fresh and clearly made in-house—not the typical pre-packaged fries you find everywhere else. The steak portions were generous (they definitely don’t believe in counting pieces), and the combination of flavors and sauces came together perfectly. Every bite was better than the last. By the time I finished, I was already planning my next visit. There are still several items on the menu I want to try, and if they’re anything like what I had, my d

Absolutely amazing meal and customer service!! The steak and fries portion was insane for the price! Went hungry and could barely get to the fries as the steak was plentiful and delicious! I’m a sucker for sweet plantains and those hit the spot too! The line was long but don’t let it stop you! Waited around 45 minutes in line at noon but was served pretty fast after I ordered. Both the father and son owners and the cashier were incredibly kind and welcoming. Sadly I live in NY so it’s not close by but I already can’t wait to go back. Hardest decision will be whether to get the steak and fries or the burger either way the plantain bun. Check them out, you won’t regret it!
